We Are a Weather Permitting Facility!

Plum Loco is an outdoor facility - and as such - we are open only if weather permits. In the event of rain, intermittent rain or a high heat index - we may be closed during regular business hours. In cases of extreme heat and humidity - we typically open during the morning hours, but close early afternoon to release the animals to their shaded shelters and pastures to ensure their safety and well-being. 

During the fall season - inclement weather may also result in closures or early closures. Due to the unpredictable nature of weather conditions - closings due to weather are not posted on this  site. Visitors are urged to check the local forecast, call ahead and plan their visits accordingly. 

HOURS OF OPERATION (closing times may vary - please call ahead to verify the day of your visit) 

2025 Summer Season: Memorial Day Saturday - Labor Day Sunday (Closed Labor Day Monday) 

9:30-4:00 daily (closed Wednesdays). Visitors should arrive by 3:00 pm to allow enough time for their visit.

2025 Fall Season: We reopen for the Fall Season Saturday, Sept. 13th 2025. We are closed for maintenance between Labor Day Monday and Friday Sept. 12th

Beginning Sept. 13th - we will be open 9:30 - 3:00 weekends only from Sept 13th - Late October

ADMISSION PRICES - Cash Preferred (but we do accept Visa, MC and Discover)

Bucks and Does:  $9.00 (adult humans - ages 18 - 64) 

Kids:                       $8.00 (young humans ages 2-17)
Old Goats:             $7.00 (grandparents of any age &/or seniors 65 and older)
Herds:                    10% off (groups of 8 or more - all must be present at check in)
Annual Pass-ture:  (annual passes expire 1 year from the date of purchase and provides savings)

DIRECTIONS 

Nestled in the  rolling farmland of Northern Door County, Plum Loco is located 3 miles east of Highway 42 between Egg Harbor and Carlsville on Plum Bottom Road and 4 miles west of Highway 57 on County V in Jacksonport. Look for our  blue and white directional signs on both highways - north and south bound. We are located at 4431 Plum Bottom Road - Egg Harbor, WI.   (920) 743-1617

From birthday parties to family reunions and field trips, Plum Loco offers pricing packages for your special event. For details, please call or email Linda and she'll gladly customize a group rate especially tailored to your event. 

Please note: Due to the nature of the equipment in our play-farm village - we adhere to an age limit of 6 years for children's birthday parties and field trips.
 

-PET POLICY - 

While we realize that many folks travel with their pets - we are unable to allow pets inside the facility. 

Plum Loco enforces a strict policy against leaving pets in parked vehicles during your visit and the parking lot is routinely patrolled. Violators of this policy will be immediately reported to authorities and the visitor will be asked to leave the premises at once - without refund. It only takes minutes for a life-threatening event to occur - even with the windows cracked. Please do your part to protect pets and report any violations to management. 

If you have no choice but to arrive with your dog - we're happy to provide a shaded, grassy, outdoor area for an adult member of your party (free of charge) to sit with your leashed pet while your family visits. Adults in your party may "take turns" - so that all can enjoy the facility. Water bucket included!
