After Labor Day Sunday - Plum Loco reopens for the fall season from mid-September through mid-to-late October.
Weather permitting - we're open from 9:30-3:00 weekends only.

The fall season brings a breath-taking array of autumn color in beautiful Door County and Plum Loco follows suit.
Dressed up in the festive tradition of corn stalks, straw bales, scarecrows and pumpkins, visitors will find all the fall flavor this beautiful season has to offer.
Pumpkin painting
During our Fall Season - Plum Loco is proud to offer pumpkin painting! Make and take home a lasting memory!
Once your pumpkin has been purchased from the ticket-booth, the painting is free of charge!
Take a seat at our pumpkin painting tables where you will find smocks and a wide variety of water-based, non-toxic washable paints and supplies to create whatever pumpkin art inspires your imaginations!
Once you've finished your masterpiece - set your freshly painted pumpkin on our drying station while you enjoy the rest that our facility has to offer. It'll be dry & ready to go when you are!
While painting real pumpkins is certainly fun - they're often difficult and messy to transport home. And - of course, artistic masterpieces are short lived because the pumpkins eventually decompose.
In order to provide visitors with a creative, convenient and long-lasting experience - we now offer sturdy, ceramic pumpkin "piggy banks" for your painting enjoyment. This way - you'll not only save precious memories - but some cash too!
